Getting a number of warnings and startup errors, so I moved a couple of features earlier in the boot process and directly into the `init.el` file (see the initialization). Also, I'm not using the `beep` feature just yet.
Since `straight` takes care of all installation automatically, I can just use `use-package` without concern.
Why yes, this will look like it sprung, like Athena, fully grown and in armor from my head, but this is really just the mid-point of a new endeavor.
